Here’s a little story for you.
I was driving on this trafficky street - none too thrilled with driving on a trafficky street. But, as I sat there I began to look around - which is when I saw this young couple standing in the driveway of their apartment building. They were standing on opposite sides of the driveway, so I was trying to figure out what was going on. And then I saw the giant red bucket next to the woman and she was holding a single water balloon. I looked over at her partner and he too had a big red bucket filled with water balloons, one already locked and loaded.
They looked like little kids - smiling and leaning forward, laughing and excited about what was about to go down - as the driveway was still dry at the time. They’d clearly changed their clothes, spent a lot of time filling water balloons and did they already have the two matching red buckets?
It was pure joy at like 1030 in the morning on a weekday and I can still see them, giggling and running around on that driveway in their own little world.
It was just lovely.
The yoga pose quote, come ON. Sometimes life doesn’t just hand you a sign, it smacks you upside the head with it. ❤️❤️❤️ Here’s one I read this week. “Every single thing you do today is something your 90 year-old self will wish they could go back and do.The good old days are happening right now.” Harder and harder to stay positive these days, but that’s how you win. Love always wins in the end.
